I don't have any problems with fixed gear conversions where the frame isn't modified. I am annoyed by conversions that involve hacksaws, but it's the owner's property and it really isn't my business. I will ridicule people who hacksaw vintage frames, particularly if their motive is to flip the bike. I saw a really nice looking Raleigh fixed gear in the bike rack at school the other day. I'm sure there is some collector out there that would love to have that frame.
