I've got a '93 Rockhopper Sport (rigid fork) that I use as a commuter/town bike. All I did was change out the knobby tires for Performance Fastcity 1.25" slicks. I run the tires at 80-90 psi.

I can't complain about my Ultimate Pro bike stand.
