Cables. cables. cables...

Now what are the truths about cables and hydro lines?

I am looking to make my Dawg Awesome... When the time comes, I want to replace the stock cables/housings. But what is with all these different types?

I see the normal, kevlar, jagwire, flac jackets, Ilinks, PTFE coated, powerline, etc...

What are the major differences when looking at what cable systems? (These will be for shifters only on the Dawg.)

And for hydrolines I just see different companies with different claims and stuff like steel braided and etc lines.
I wont be doing anything to my hydro lines, until I buy new brakes... looking at something in AVIDS line, they seem to have hydro down.

My plan is to buy extra housing guides (stick on or something) and run full length housing (or as much as I possibly can)
