Maximum speed on flat roads?
Hi guys, I'm 14 years old, and have a $89 mountain bike.
I recently bought a new Schwinn Tourist(hybrid), but the stock wheels are those of ROAD tires.
I'm going on a 30-40 miles bike ride tomorrow, and I was wondering how to maximize my speed, in all aspects, but especially in the flat, paved roads, where everyone else's hybrids/ 400$ MTB's rip me apart in speed.
Additional info:
Height: 5' 0"
Weight: 95 lbs.
MTB tires: 24" and fat treads
Hybrid tires: 700c, super thin, no treads
Max. speed ever on MTB (flat): 18-21 mph
