I rode my usual commute today, but in a lovely driving rain, wind, snow, and sleet. In celebration, I mounted studded tires on my HardRock MTB and took that bike. By the time I came home, it was only rain and had warmed up considerably, so I was way too hot. Just another New England December bike commute.

Yeah, I had a similar commuting experience in the past two days. Yesterday I fought my way along with 38+ mph wind gusts. On the bright side, my commute is only 2 miles round trip.
