A friend and I decided to get one more ride in before the rains arrived. This one was an out & back route that totaled 27 miles with 3,000' of climbing. I was able to compare my GPS data with a identical trip on my DF about 3 months ago. My speed today was about 1/2 MPH slower than then. I'm pleased with that but is it reasonable to think that this will improve as I get more accustomed to the bike? I'm just not sure what to expect on this. I am not a fast climber but I can say that for me the climbing seems "different" but it does not seem particularly harder.

I was most pleased to complete another ride without falling over during the slow speeds stuff!
