Zen state of mind

Many times when I get ready to ride I will know if my body wants to ride long or short. My body feels like it wants to ride forever and so iI will go for 60 or 70 miles. Other times my body feels like it will never make it around the block. I commute to work so my body know it has to make it but some days its like pulling teeth and other days its a joy ride. It seems that 1 out of 5 days my body wants to roll and the other 4 are just plain old effort.

Does it ever get any easyer? I've got about 2500 miles in since last May when i first started riding.

How long will it take it take to reach that Zen state of mind more often?

I'm not over weight, I eat reasonable, I work out, Whats up?

Thank for any insights
