I had good luck with Armadillos in 700x23 but they weren’t the best rolling tire I have ever had. I now use ultra gatorskins. I have a friend that uses gatorskins and a protector strip but you start adding weight. Both tires worked well for me on glass and normal sharp objects but still a goat head can get to you. Slime works but will not keep all flats from happening and it is very messy when a flat does happen. I have never even tried tubeless because I don’t have rims for it.
