I hadn't looked into it for a while so I was shocked when I visited calcycling.org today and was greeted by the following message:
The Cal Cycling team is on hiatus for the 2009-2010 academic year. Check back soon for information on alternate ways to ride in the Berkeley area.
They're also not listed on the Cal club sports page. I emailed the club sports coordinator asking what happened.
Does anybody know what the deal is? I rode with them last August and didn't hear anything suggesting this. As a Cal alum I'm saddened by this and hope it wasn't due to lack of support.
