CLean it, lube the chain, try for $175 like wrk101 says, but considering settling for $125, which is still good money for a rigid fork MTB. I've got a Nishiki of the same vintage in similiar condition that I'll be glad to get $125 for.
If you think you're going to need a beater, MUP rider in the future and if you've got the space, keep it. It will cost you three times what you'll sell it for to replace it with a new bike. That's a very nice tubeset on that frame.
