Does anyone know what to look for to determine whether or not the chainring is replaceable?
If you look at this bikes crank

you will see a set of bolts just inside the plastic guard - those are the chaining bolts indicating a replacable chainring. The Nova lacks those so a whole crankset needs to be obtained.
