Someone gave me this link the other day http://<a href="http://www.bikeforum...y-commuter</a> It is not my bike but this might give you an idea. It can open some options for you. maybe give you and upright & aero geometry as you want. I did mine a little different mounting my shifter and brakes on the forward bar. The only point I want to make though is explore some options. There are many to consider.

The butterfly bars were $25 the bar tape with gel pads was $20 and the ergonomic grips were $30.
Hey! That's exactly the set up I'm looking to get on my 7.3FX. I have the flat bars right now, and I want to get butterfly bars. are the aero bars clip ons? or are they directly part of the butterfly bars? I want that setup because I want more hand positions than my flat bar+bar ends, and I want the time-trial position.

I was thinking, if I bought butterfly bars but the front-most curve is narrower (ie, your bell and shifters move closer to the centerline of the bike), could I put bar ends at the front of the butterfly bars to create the aero position? Like the time trial position, but wider.
