and for the sake of clarification the frame was my mother's 81 schwinn le tour she bought brand new from a lbs in indianapolis. i rescued it from the chicken coop a couple years ago and finally decided to do something with it. the only thing that is truly original on it now is the front emblem, i plan on leaving it alone for posterity.
