I don't mean to be harsh, by the way. Converting the Il Pompino to geared is tricky to say the least, and it'd be better to save you the hassle. Do you have a flip-flop hub? A second freewheel is probably the easiest, cheapest route. You could also get a 3-speed S3X hubbed-wheel (
