i wear mine, just a Ti band all the time. The exception is when I am doing metal or tree work, I don't want it to get hung on something and "glove" my finger.
In two years it has come off once. I had been riding and running a bunch and my weight was down. We were walking through the refridgerated aisle in a Kroger and the thing just flew off my finger. It bounced once and headed for the cooler. I had to dive for it!
