The 10 min wait is the time between when you put the glue on the tire and when you apply the patch. When you press the patch on the glued area of the tube it is bonded instantly. You can pump it up and go. Dont forget to remove the piece of glass or thorn that caused the flat from the tire before you reinstall the tire, or you will be repairing another puncture 1/2 amile down the road.
