That's a real shame. I join in hoping some other person takes it over.

It's been a while since I was up Mines Road (I grew up at the base of the hill), but last I saw the Branding Iron/14 Mile House had also gone the way of the Mohicans, whoich would mean nowhere to get water between Livermore and either Raines Park of the way to Patterson or Mt. Hamilton, and no place to get any other supplies until PAtterson or San Jose. Very unfortunate.
