1994 trek 2300 for $300..good buy?

Searched my local CL and found a guy selling a 1994 trek 2300 for $300 says hes upgrading and doesn't need a spare bike. I always need a spare bike.. or 50th.....

i post the link but that's all the info he provided here's the bikepedia page...

I am a little concerned about the alum lugs and carbon fiber. Ive often been looking for a trek 7900 and have heard rumors that the glue they used likes to fail randomly after a while esp in the seat stays. Should I be concerned? Any truth to this rumor?

I'm a big fan of the 600/ultegra groupo from almost every year so its age doesn't concern me. Its wear might. I'd have to see the bike first...

So given an almost like new condition would you buy this bike?
