I've been surprised not to see more coverage of the Taipei Cycle show in the online cycling press (this is the third biggest such show after Eurobike and Interbike), so today I started searching for it. I found
an interesting blog post that showed a new semi-recumbent tandem. The manufacturer has a minimalist page that includes it
here.
Of course, it is a similar set-up to the
Bilenky Viewpoint and
Hase Pino, but what makes this unique is the two independent drivetrains! The drivetrains don't even match, with the rear person getting a triple chankset, but the front only have a single chainring. Despite this, the front person has two gear levers, so I'm not sure what the left lever would control.
