Thanks tashi. I think the color is somewhere between orange and yellow, maybe even a mustard. The bike has been ridden but cared for. The quick test ride I did yesterday, she felt great. The Deore drivetrain is very smooth and quiet, and the bike feels responsive and nimble, more like a relaxed road bike than mtb.

This is the second early Stumpy I've come across. I picked up an '86 on CL about 4 years ago for $20 that was in almost the same shape. Gave it to my brother in law because he's a big Specialized fan and he rides the heck out of it. This one will be a keeper.
