Richard, I have Dinotte lights as well. When fully charged my lights show a blue indicator on the back of the light engine and a red indicator when the charge reaches a certain low level. Once they get to the low level they will stay on for a while but if you have a distance to travel I would change batteries. I have the 200 watt lights with 4 AA batteries. I don't know if yours work the same way or not.
