I got the basic Crosstown model. I wanted no front suspension and no front gears. The more basic, the better for me as this would be used 98% of the time on flat paved roads. And, you are right, they will assemble the bike, adjust brakes, true the wheels, etc. Shipping to store was free and I got even better price than on-line (from the same store). I guess it pays to call and talk friendly to the sales people.

What I learned that GT and Fuji bikes cannot be shipped home as by assembling it yourself, you void the warranty. Strange but that what they told me. Of course it changed in recent years as my current bike (GT) was shipped to home and I did the assembly on it.
