The Mars4 is perhaps marginally brighter than the SF with fresh Alkaline batteries but doesn't burn for as long. Its a good light if you don't mind switching batteries reasonably often. The PBSF on blink lasts for a very long time and the seatstay mounting option is nice when your seatpost is obscured by luggage. See my testing.
