thanks for the suggestions. I've been "offline" for a few days enjoying the weather. I ended up doing something on Alpine road as per suggestions from my father-in-law. It was EXACTLY the alpine 50 mile route recommended by screenwasher. I went back out to 34 and did an extra 10 miles because the day was so beautiful. 3:30 riding time, 63 miles(route here

Really great weather, and some very pretty country. I'll hopefully be back up there this summer for some more riding.
