ChiRunning

I purchased the book ChiRunning by Danny Dryer about 3 weeks ago and have been reading it off and on. This morning was the first run where I really focused throughout the whole run on his techniques. Throughout the run I focused on the form he teaches in his book and not trying to run fast (he prescribes building up your running by form first then distance and then speed). I found my running to me much more natural and almost effortless. I was surprised to find that when I ended my run (I just did a 4 mile run) that my time was 3.5 minutes less than what I usually run 4 miles. Wow.

The running techniques and forms in the book are also supposed to drastically reduce injuries. So people with PF, shin splints, knee problems may be interested.

Anywho, I thought I'd pass on a great book and grea running experience.
