OK I think I understand now. I was a little confused.
I actually didn't realize that I could replace the chainring that's on their now, but from what I have seen, most are very small sizes, usually less than 35 teeth.
I could also get an adapter from bmx chainwheel to road chainring but they aren't very cost effective.

EDIT: actually, on ebay there are some good bmx chainwheel prices but they say they are for one piece cranks. Would they work for my cranks?
