Heh, in this case, the old analogy, "It's like learning to ride a bike, you never forget" may be true. Do you have any friends with bikes? Ask to borrow theirs for an afternoon. If you don't get it right away, then try tooling around by pushing yourself around with your feet, instead of pedalling. This will help you learn to balance and steer. Once you can do this, try pedalling as well.
