If you are not using your light during the summer, Remember to charge your battery every 3-4 months!!
I'm bumping this old, old, OLD thread up because it just saved me from having to buy a new battery/light. I left my L&M NiMH battery in a drawer a little bit too long and the charger initially flashed green/orange. Using this trick of repeatedly plugging/unplugging the battery it allowed it to charge enough that the charger finally turned orange/orange and is now charging the battery. It may have lost some runtime in the process but if I can still get 1-2 hours per charge on my old Solo Logic I'll be happy.
