Also, are we talking about skid skids, or are we talking about midgey skip stops? Because I've found it to be very difficult to actually skid running 79 gear inches, and many people tell me I have hulk-like quads . It just takes a whole helluva lot of force to stop the pedals clean with that much momentum. I'm thinking most of the guys/gals doing actual skidding are running a smaller gearing than that, though I could be wrong. With what I'm running it hardly seems worth the trouble (or the pain).
