I don't know if it will solve your problem, but most Look pedals can be taken apart. I have a couple of pairs sitting around that need a little work. You need a plastic splined tool to get them open. I sent an email to the U.S. distributer

They emailed me the part number, and told me to have my LBS order it...and then a couple of weeks later, they mailed me one for free. Pretty cool.
