One point. The city's name is GRANTS PASS. There is no apostrophe. Between Grants Pass and the California border is Cave Junction. Follow the signs up into the mountains (don't trust your GPS), and you will arrive at the Oregon Caves National Monument. If holes in the ground strike your fancy, this is a place to check out.
Grants Pass hosts the Josephine County Fair in mid-August (August 17-21). Central Point is the host for the Jackson County Fair in July (July 20-25). And if you are at the Jackson County Fair between 1 am and 9:30 am, look for the fair staffer riding a black mountain bike. That's usually me.
