It's where you and the bike become one, everything seems to melt together, you are riding in an M.C. Esher drawing, blinkies blur with comet tails and the road turns to the best asphault you have ever riden. As you breath you feel the transfer of oxygen in your blood, you can feel your cells suck nurishment from your veins. Your body slowly develops this white crystaline shell as you continue to pedal. The feeling in your calves is almost a knot, as you just pump madly. Your thighs drive your calves like pistons. A look at your feet you find a blur as with no conscious effort your spin is at an incredible rate.
