Spencer, the owner of Ritte has been pretty transparent about where the bike is made. Didn't stop me from getting one. You can get an unbranded one on Pedal Force (not Hong Fu/eBay) - and really, the price difference isn't that big. Once you add a fork and headset you're paying $1100+shipping. But it's not as if Pedal Force designed the bike anyway either. At the end of the day though, what matters is how it rides and I sure do like it!
