Which way does the hairpin turn go? Was "dumbass" passing "Serious" on the left around a right hand turn and Serious went left and caused Dumbass to collide? I don't know the area at all so can't tell who really was at fault.
On the other hand, it's never smart to be aggressive in congested areas and pass without being totally aware of what the other guy's doing.
