I suppose the answer will vary according to fork and tire. I have a tara mounted to the lower fork eyelet of an LHT using Schwable Supremes 26x2.0 and get a measurement of 19 1/2" from the ground to the center of the horizontal mounting bar and about 19 10/16" to the top of the bar.
