Another vote for Saris Bones either the 3 bike or the 2 bike version.

I think it is the best of the strap-on bike rack field. It has 3 pairs of straps to hold it securely onto the car. It fits the widest range of cars of any of the strap-ons. It's cheaper than most of the receiver hitch racks. It doesn't have any rustable parts. The metal cam locks hold the straps more securely than many of it's competitors.

The first time that you install it on a car it may take a bit of time to figure out where to position the various arms on the spine. Once you figure it out it might be a good idea to mark the position for next time.
