I have the same problem. despite lots of advice I just can't figure it out. so I simply attach the thumbnail and post my reply. Iopen the thumbnail in a new "tab" then edit my post and copy and paste the larger image. I suspect it has something to do with how my firewall settings are on my 'puter or the public/private setting in flicker.
OH also does anyone know if I delete pics from the attachment cache or folder do they get deleted from the thread? for example if I delete a pic I posted say last Oct. does the pic still show in the thread where I posted it?
