I've been hearing a lot about how "Dutch style" or "Euro style" bikes are growing in popularity, especially for people running errands or commuting short distances, etc. Out of curiosity, I'm just wondering what exactly a Dutch bike is, and how it would compare to what I have now. Is it just any kind of bike where you sit straight up? Is it a type of cruiser? Would the Electra Townie be considered this type?
