Yes, the TE is a LWB. I think of the V2 as more of a clwb (compact) with a higher bottom bracket (height of your feet). I haven't owned a TE, but I have owned a Stratus and V2. I took the Stratus on RAGBRAI (in Iowa) for 500 miles, and some rolling hills. It was an easy ride, and I didn't think it was slow or hard to climb. If you have the dough for a GRR, then go for it. I'm sure a GRR owner will post on this soon, but I would guess you can't go wrong for comfort and speed combination.
Yes, since I stopped seeing doctors, I have the dough to pay for a more expensive bike.
I invite any and all GRR owners to respond since I have a question about their seats which is my only concern regarding them.
