I was called a redneck today!

So I load my bike into the back of my 1988 Dodge Dakota pickup truck. My homemade bike rack is such that the bike stands up in the air. I am driving along the road towards the trails in my mountain biking shirt.

A couple of cute girls pull up next to me at the lights in their little convertible and are giggling. They then both shout out at me "REDNECK!!!" as I make my right turn.

Guys, are we rednecks?

I'm a roadie too, not just a mountain biker. I always thought of roadies and rednecks like matter and anti-matter - whenever they come into contact, **** happens!
