I had a Navigator 1.0 and never even thought about the saddle it was so comfortable. Then I bought my Jamis Coda and the stock saddle was awful. I bought one of
these for $15 and it worked out fine, so you can try different saddles without spending a ton of money. I don't think bike fit will make much difference with saddle comfort unless things are way out of whack.
