How does the model hierarchy work for sram chains? All the chains on the sram road site are categorized by the number of gears a bike has and the models in each category share the same description. So do I assume the higher the model number the better? (although I'm going to probably get one from the 8 speed category)

Totally didn't know that, but nice to hear; I still have a 20+ year old sachs french chain laying around.... its worn of coourse....

EDIT: I forgot to mention my commuter is still 3/32; it came stock with the paddy wagon and I kept it that way.... although I have some 1/8 spares...
