Your diet plays a huge factor in your weight loss... though of course exercise is great for your body and speed your metabolism, I find my weight is gained or lost via what I eat. It is simpler to not eat that extra donut then to try and cycle the donut calories off!

Perhaps try tracking software that allows you to easily log your diet.. then you can see how many calories your cycling is burning verses how much you are eating.

BTW, by weight I mean fat of course. Obviously you gain some muscle from cycling but 2 weeks is probably not enough time for that. I have lost up to 20 pounds in 2 weeks from eating low calories and working out and weight lifting 5 days a week. This is a bit extreme though it just depends, if you are closer to your ideal weight its going to be that much harder to see numbers come off.
