I got the frame set about 2-1/2 years ago, and it hung in my garage until about 6 months ago when I decided to build it up as a compact double to see what all the fuss is about.

It's ok, but a lot more shifting necessary up front than with my standard triple equipped bikes. I'm not sold on the compact double philosophy yet. But the bike is nice, what with the mid-80's paint job and all. And then there's the chrome. Mmmmmmmmmm........
