I contacted Topolino. They have a 200-lb. weight limit, or some-such number. All I remember is I exceed it (260-lbs.).
But yes, they look very nice. Given how they're built I wouldn't hesitate trying them out. However, if something did go wrong, I wouldn't have a warranty to fall back upon and the $1,500 would be out the window.
