Bigdaddy isn't the one that started this thread btw.
I really have no clue what the front derailleur and shifter. I would of said triple based on the fact it has 3 locations, but after reading what bigdaddy said, not sure.
But, it seems fine now. I think I was shifting wrong. When shifting up you really have to push that level all the way until it bottoms out. I think I was just pushing it just enough to move it, but not fully shift.
There is no need for that 3rd spot.
But yeah, its a brand new bike from the shop. Has 30 day warranty to fix anything, trade the bike back in if you don't like it in the 1st 30 days, 2 free fall tune ups, and also work in the same building as the shop. So will be no problems to get it fixed if needed.
