I got out this morning and followed the same route, for the most part, but added an additional 1/2 mile. Again, weather was pretty nice this morning. Temperature was in the mid 60s and mostly sunny when I started and was in the low 70s when I ended. I ended up riding 31.6 miles today (adding the additional 1/2 mile to the route) and rode it 8 minutes faster. I also had a pleasant conversation with another cyclist who is just starting to get back into riding.
Out of curiosity, is it considered bad manners not to acknowledge fellow cyclists when they say good morning in passing or make eye contact? I said good morning to every cyclist and pedestrian and about 1/2 of them ignored me. I did put on deodorant on this morning so I should not have smelled that bad.
