Nope. I got your point and skipped right to the real point. It's a MOVIE. They want it to look brakeless I'm sure but artistic license and stuntmen demand they run a rear brake. There may be a scene where he has to have perfect timing in doing a skid and avoiding a car and to blow the shot costs big money. So they add a brake.
