We are at peak season throughout the state, but as far as my personal crop goes, I'm afraid I'd describe it as disappointing, at best. Naturally, Jersey blueberry growing is a science and an art; I am a student of the berry. Perhaps, next year's crop will be more, er, fruitful.
Regarding the cupcake, thank you jdon, it was a lovely gesture. It was kind of you to think of me. However, that cupcake looks familiar. I sincerely hope it isn't the same one you sent before. I imagine it would be rather stale by now. It reminds me of that undoubtably smelly bass that keeps getting passed around on Foo.
