Straight-cut lower seat lug (maybe BB shell, too, but hard to tell), stamped rear dropouts. The front wheel's probably original, but wingnuts usually aren't as good (ie. upper scale) as quick release. All point to a lower end frame. Sorry if you thought you had a sleeper. But enjoy riding it. That's what bikes are for.
The only saver might be if you have a 26.8-27.2 seatpost in there. But it's probably 26.0 or less.
